Honestly, this game could be anything. The Sea Eagles are toast but their home record is pretty good. Manly will nick this. Chooks by a million over the Tigers. The Cowboys could rack up a big score against the tired Warriors. Brisbane will be up for this stoush with the Storm but with Jahrome Hughes back, Melbourne should win.

The Warriors have struggled away from home this year though and I expect the home ground advantage to be enough to see the Cowboys win. The Storm seem to slowly be finding form again as the race towards the finals intensifies. The Storm have a really strong record against the Broncos and I expect that record to continue. You can never be sure of a Parramatta win, but it really is a must win game this weekend against the Bulldogs, with two challenging games to finish the season after this Round.

The Sharks will beat the Sea Eagles, whose season continues to be in disarray following the debacle around the Pride jersey. The Raiders will also keep their season alive for one more week when the beat the Newcastle Knights who seem to be in freefall at the moment. They also struggled to put away the lowly Bulldogs and Tigers but in between was a comprehensive victory over the Dragons. A return to Townsville against a team that has lost 10 consecutive matches in Australia should provide the Cowboys with enough motivation to produce some of their best footy.

We see this match only going one way. Brisbane were looking strong to secure a home final, but a dip in form over the last few weeks has seen them slip behind in contention — and another loss to the Storm could even see them battling to remain in the Top 8 if the Canberra Raiders keep winning.

After an impressive victory on the road against the Eels, the Broncos suffered back-to-back defeats, at home to the Tigers and away to the Roosters before getting back on track with a scrappy victory last week over the struggling Knights.
